And You Wonder Why Arizona Passed The Law on Illegal Immigration

Hey everyone out there!

We, in Arizona , know you're boycotting us -- but you really should
come out here and see our Beautiful Sonoran Desert .

It's just gorgeous right now! We know you'd love it and maybe you
can share what you saw with the rest of the country so they can
love it too!

This is on an 'illegal super - highway' from Mexico to the USA ( Tucson ) used
by human smugglers.

This area is located in a wash, approximately 1.5 miles long, just south of
Tucson , Arizona . If a flood came, all this would be washed to the river and
then onto the sea!

It is estimated over 5,000 discarded backpacks are in this wash. Countless
water containers, food wrappers, clothing, feces, including thousands of
soiled baby diapers. And as you can see in this picture, fresh footprints
leading right into it.

As we kept walking down the wash, we thought for sure it was going to end, but around
every corner was more and more trash!

And of course the trail leading out of the wash in our city, heads directly NORTH to
Tucson ,then leads to your town tomorrow.

They've already come through here. Isn't Arizona just beautiful, America ?
Why would you boycott us???

Our desert has basically been turned into a landfill.

The trash left behind by people illegally crossing our border is another
Environmental Disaster to hit the USA .

If these actions had been done in one of our Northwest Forests or Seashore
National Parks areas, there would be an uprising of the American people.....
but this is the Arizona-Mexican border.

You won't see these pictures on CNN, ABC, NBC or the Arizona Republic
Repugnant newspaper. Nor will they mention the disease that comes from
the uncovered human waste left in our desert.

However, with respect to CNN, ABC & NBC, they do offer us "Special Reports"
on cheating celebrity spouses....
This information needs to be seen by the rest of the country.

Time To Fire Your Government Employees

Please use the links below to see how your employee (senator) voted, there is a link for each state. If they voted Nay and that was not what you wanted then FIRE them in the election. Here in PA that election is May 18th, 2010. Then please pass this to everyone you know.

We need to remember THEY work for US not the other way around. We hire them with our vote, we can fire them with our vote.

Subject: Audit the Fed defeated - find out how your senators voted

May 11, 2010

Dear C4L Member,

Below is the press release Campaign for Liberty is sending to all major media outlets in reaction to the Senate defeating Senator David Vitter's Audit the Fed amendment to the Dodd Fed Empowerment Act.

CLICK HERE to see how your senators voted.

If your senators voted yes, thank them for their vote to Audit the Fed and tell them to oppose the Dodd Fed Empowerment Act.

If your senators voted no, tell them their vote puts them on the side of endless bailouts and continuing to allow the Federal Reserve to operate in secret after its reckless policies devastated our economy.

I nsist they vote against Dodd's Fed Empowerment Act.

In Liberty,

John Tate

President

Full Fed Audit Amendment Voted Down in Senate

Washington, D.C., May 11, 2010 - Today, the U.S. Senate voted 62 to 37 against an amendment to allow greater transparency at the Federal Reserve.

This amendment was introduced to counter a weaker amendment that would have required only a one time audit just of Fed emergency programs. The new amendment was similar to the original H.R. 1207 audit bill introduced by Congressman Ron Paul and added to the House financial reform package.

"The Sanders Amendment is no substitute for a complete and thorough audit of the Fed," said John Tate, President of Campaign for Liberty. "With this vote , we now have a record of those who really want transparency and those who only pay lip-service to it while upholding the status quo."

If the entire financial regulation bill makes it out of the Senate, it heads to the House , where House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank will choose which version to move forward on.

“ The Dodd bill itself is just another bad piece of legislation, which will benefit no one except the Fed and its friends at big banks,” said Tate. “It institutionalizes bailouts for banks and subsidizes risky financial decisions .”

"Despite what happens with the financial regulation bill, we will continue pushing Congress for an up or down vote on H.R. 1207, which is the only full audit to allow true transparency in our financial system.”

Up in arms again over latest possible ban

Possible ban on menthol cigarettes has me up in arms again. Why? Yes I am a smoker but that's not the only reason. This is just like the ban of salt in food prep in the restaurant industries in NY state. Even if I was not a smoker I would still be pissed off! I don't use salt to cook with at home but why should some moronic law maker who is on a health kick decide for everyone else that the food prep should be done without salt everywhere? In the same token, why should some idiot in the FDA decide for me whether or not I should smoke? and if I smoke if I should be allowed to smoke menthol cigarettes??

DO YOU SEE WHAT I AM GETTING AT HERE PEOPLE????? WHERE IS OUR FREEDOM OF CHOICE GOING?????? WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO LET OTHER PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT CHOICES WE HAVE? WHY ARE WE LETTING OTHER PEOPLE DECIDE THE AMOUNT OF FREEDOM WE HAVE TO PURSUE LIFE LIBERTY AND HAPPINESS??????

O.k. I am done yelling now, to get back to the story. This ban has been kept hush hush until recently, now some of the talk shows are finally talking about it. This started about 2 years ago, I knew nothing about it, chances are neither did you! and some of you may STILL NOT KNOW, until now.

The federal governemnt (congress) passed legislation that gave the FDA the power to regulate cigarettes... "The legislation passed by Congress bans flavorings like chocolate and cherry, but excludes menthol-flavored cigarettes from the ban. The legislation, which is awaiting President Barack Obama's signature, calls for the FDA to examine the medical effects and marketing of menthol cigarettes and their impact on blacks, Hispanics, and other groups, with a report due back in 18 months. Based on these considerations, the FDA could either ban menthol cigarettes completely, order them to be phased out, or not take action."

Now the talk is that they will be banned because they seem to think that the menthol attracts more teenagers to start smoking.  UM HEEEELLLLOOOOOOO!!! we already have legislation stating that cigarettes can not be sold to anyone under 18 years old. ENFORCE IT!! It is so typical of the American government to just keep passing more and more laws banning this and that instead of enforcing the laws we already have.

The other part of the possible ban is because The African American consumption of menthol brands is said to be so high  because the media advertises the menthol brands much more the African American community. SO they have now turned into a racial thing.

Now let me explain something right here, I CHOOSE to smoke. I have told my family repeatedly should (notice I said SHOULD) I develope cancer they are not to sue the tobacco industry. I made a choice to smoke, I have to live or die with that choice. Personally I feel it is the same for the African Americans, they are making a choice to smoke, they have to take the consequences of that choice.  It all comes down to CHOICE people and being responsible for that choice that YOU make.

Here is in my opinion on the problem, banning of menthol cigarettes is just the start, then it will be cigarettes all together completely, then chewing tobacco, then cigars and that's just this particular field. I hear you saying well that doesn't bother me I am not a smoker.

When there is nothing left to ban as far as tobacco goes they will move on the next latest greatest health concern they deem to be for the good of the American public. So what will it be next? Maybe something that does hit you personally, chocolate, coffee, beer, toilet paper, tea, popcorn, candy, nuts, pepsi, coke, mountain dew.... go ahead laugh now but wait you wont be laughing in a few years.

Yes I chose what seem to be rather harmless items, chocolate, toilet paper, nuts, popcorn... you're thinking well why would any of those be banned .. well why should any of our choices be taken away from us? why should we allow others to ban things in the first place.

Now I hear you with the whole gun thing but people answer this honestly and I mean honestly, have you ever seen a gun walk up on little gun legs and pull its trigger with little gun hands and kill someone? If you're answering honestly the answer is NO. The gun did not kill someone on its own, it was the person holding the gun. Yes children have had accidental shootings but again that goes back to the gun owner not being responsible and they should pay a price for that lack of responsibility not the entire country.

I hate to be a broken record but it seems I have to be, When is enough , enough? When is the American public going to wake up and start fighting back? I just hope it is before it is too late and there are no freedoms left anymore. Maybe it is time to stop playing games and start reading up and researching into what your government is doing for you!

Snow?? Are you kidding me?

Woke up to snow on the ground this morning, are you kidding me??? what the hell is this crap? I thought spring was here.

I have my containers for vegetable garden, and some of my seeds. Waiting on plants to come and then need to get potting soil. 3 to 4 weeks I can start the seeds so they can be put in the containers outside the middle of may. I'm looking forward to fresh vegetables this year. If they go well this year will invest in a couple more containers for next year and do an herb container along with more vegetables. Eventually I want to have enough vegetables to freeze and make home made spaghetti sauce.

Hopefully they will grow well this year.

Health Care Reform Bill Passed

Well we are all pretty much screwed now. I just hope the American people now wake up and realize what a travesty this past presidential election turned out to be. For those who voted for Obama, all I can say is... how is that hope and change working out for you? Or maybe I should wait to ask that until you discover just how much this worthless health care reform is going to cost you out of pocket and what kind of wait you will have to deal with to get your health care if this reform goes through the senate as well. Find out how your employees voted, http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/03/22/house-roll-health-care-overhaul/

You will then no longer have the right to pick and choose who you will get your health insurance from, you will have to buy from person A at more than person B. A better example here is that you are going to be told you must buy broccoli from farmer A instead of farmer B and you must buy it regardless of the fact that you don't even like broccoli, if you don't buy it you will be fined and/or put in prison. You think I am kidding you but I am not. Read up people.

Now wake up and start firing your employees (IE congress and senators, president) they do work for you. You hire them by election and you can fire them by election.
This time do your research, just like hiring an employee do the background research look at experience etc.
